* Normal starter returned from injury/rest.
Lee entered the game down 42-10 with 9:35 left in the 3rd quarter; the Broncos fumbled on the goal line on what would have been the go-ahead touchdown with 3:33 left in the game.
Slaughter got married the day before the Week 5 home game against the Chiefs and his parents had come in from Louisiana for the wedding.
Ray Malavasi, in his last game as interim coach, claimed he started Glacken because he could throw deep passes. Glacken completed just one pass in three drives and was benched for McCormick with the Broncos trailing the Bills 17-0. The Bills’ win clinched the AFL Eastern Division, knocking the Patriots out of playoff contention.
Weese dislocated his right kneecap in the same game.
Maddox alternated with Shawn Moore for nearly every play in both the Week 15 and 16 games.
Manning made the first and only relief appearance of his 18-year career in a comeback win against the Chargers in Week 17.
All four quarterbacks on the Broncos roster were unavailable due to potential COVID-19 exposure. Hinton, a practice squad WR, threw all nine passes for the Broncos in the game, but did not play until the Broncos’ 5th snap from scrimmage; running back Philip Lindsay took the first 3 snaps and ran and RB Royce Freeman took the fourth. Some sources may have Lindsay as the starting QB.
